Ara Macao (n) - a large, neotropical parrot found in Central and South America, also known as the scarlet macaw
This parrot has been hand painted in watercolour by London-based designer Maddie Chambers before being digitally printed in the UK onto 3mm laser cut birch wood and strung on a satin ribbon.
