About us

British contemporary retro art, posters & gifts

We started small, with one poster, designing and selling in our spare time whilst working full time. That was 12 years ago and now one son, two cats and six chickens later we're running Andy Tuohy Design full time and selling posters, prints and bespoke merchandise all over the world.

But home is Britain by the sea and that sunny disposition runs through all our work from portraits of the British Isles to beach huts and bus shelters. Andy's contemporary retro style captures locations near and far in a state of glorious, timeless idyll. Based upon classic 20th century illustration techniques, type and design, with references to vintage travel and railway posters, Andy's work is vibrant, humorous and optimistic.

How it's made

Always UK designed and produced

All prints, posters, shielding masks and gifts are designed by us and made in the UK.

Our prints are strictly limited edition giclée prints, normally limited to an edition of 100 and printed on archival quality paper. Our posters are litho printed on FSC certified sustainable paper.

All our ideas and designs start with a sketch; we go through a lot of notebooks!

Delivery

Please note that due to lockdown / Covid 19 there is some disruption to courier and postal services but we're working hard to ensure you get your products as quickly as possible. We are a family business so we are not compromising the safety of employees and can order prints remotely and socially distance from everyone involved in our delivery chain.
