Consciously crafted homewares that bring joy
Anie Studio creates concrete homeware pieces with a focus on form, texture, colour and pattern.
From mixing the concrete to hand-painting the patterns, each piece is carefully hand-crafted from scratch in Manchester.
Sustainability is at the core of Anie Studio because there isn’t a planet B. Each piece is crafted with minimal waste. Any leftover concrete from a mix is left to dry, crumbled, and then mixed into the next batch. Only recyclable/biodegradable packaging is used - those little packing peanuts are actually made from corn starch! We strive to source our materials from local, independent businesses where possible.
Each month 10% of sales are donated to a different charity because we believe in the importance of giving back to those who are most vulnerable.
Hello, I’m Steph, the face behind Anie Studio! It's a one woman show here, although my fur baby Audrey likes to supervise.
I started Anie Studio in 2020 after being furloughed from my job - sound familiar?
After working in creative retail roles for years (most recently for a leading luxury retailer) and having a degree in fashion design, my friends had urged me for years to start my own creative side hustle. Truth be told, I wasn’t sure where to start or where I’d find time so always put it off (excuses excuses).
Two months of furlough and 12 seasons of Ru Paul’s Drag Race later I decided to get off the sofa and make concrete homewares (had a tub of it under the sink as you do). I haven’t looked back since!
