Hi! I'm Carly. Working from my home studio in Kent, I combine precious metals and traditional craftsmanship to make your personalised jewellery.
After the birth of my second child, I wanted a more flexible way of working to be there as my children grew. I made the move to work for myself, taking my marketing experience and using it to help independent product brands grow.
It wasn't until early 2022, when my daughter and I collected some seaglass and I researched what I could do with it, that my love for jewellery making was ignited. I bought some basic tools, read and watched everything I could about making jewellery and started making seaglass necklaces and rings. My passion for hand-crafting jewellery grew and I soon started making the jewellery I loved to wear myself - simple, timeless, solid gold or silver pieces that carry personal meaning.
I invested in more tools and taught myself traditional metal smithing techniques, including hand-stamping,
Combining my new-found love for jewellery making and my background in product marketing, aujune was born in the summer 2023.
Each piece in aujune's collection is individually handcrafted with the care and attention it deserves at my studio in Kent. I continue to use traditional metal smithing techniques, giving a beautifully organic finish and ensuring that each piece can be worn every day, always.

The Art of Hand Stamping
Hand-stamping jewellery is a traditional technique where a metal stamp is used to impress a design or lettering onto a piece of metal, such as a pendant or charm. The steel stamp is held by hand and struck with a brass hammer to create the impression in the metal. As it is done by hand and eye, when a piece is hand-stamped there may be variations in alignment, spacing and depth of the letters - which add to the beauty and uniqueness of the piece.
Your hand-stamped jewellery will have an organic look and there will be slight variations in alignment, spacing and depth of the letters. I love this as it adds to the beauty of the piece and makes it truly one-of-a-kind, just like the memories if signifies.

Delivery
I ship within the United Kingdom only. Delivery is Free of charge.
Silver items take up to 2 weeks and 9ct Gold items up to 4 weeks from order to dispatch. If you require your item sooner please contact me prior to ordering to see if this is possible.
Items under £150 are shipped via Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Letterbox Delivery free of charge. All items over £150 are sent by Special Signed for Delivery (this is for insurance purposes).
Royal Mail 48hr Tracked Delivery: You will receive a tracking number. Due to the size of our boxes you will need to be in to receive your parcel (or you can designate a safe space for it to be left when you receive your tracking details). It should arrive within 48 hours of receiving your dispatch email.
Special Delivery: You will receive a tracking number. Someone must be in to sign for and receive this delivery, otherwise, a calling card will be pushed through your letterbox to rearrange delivery. It should arrive before 1pm the day after you receive your dispatch notification.

I hope that you love your new aujune jewellery, which is made by hand to the highest standards and undergoes a thorough quality check before leaving my studio.
Personalised items that are ordered with your choice of name, message or another customised aspect that makes the item unique to your requirements are not eligible for a replacement or refund (unless faulty or an error in personalisation has been made by me) as they cannot be resold. All rings are made to order to size and are non refundable. Personalised items are hand-stamped, meaning that variations between spacing, depth and alignment will occur. This does not constitute a design fault.
Any unpersonalised items (except rings which are made to size) are eligible for a replacement or refund, providing they are returned to me unused, in the same condition that you received them in with the original packaging.
To discuss a return with me please contact me within 28 days of receipt of your item(s). Once your return has been confirmed by me, you then have 14 days to return the items so that I can process your exchange/refund. To contact me about a return please click ‘my account’ at the top of the page, then ‘my orders’ and then select your order. here you will find an option to ‘contact the seller’
Please note that if you are returning a non-personalised item because you have changed your mind, you will be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning the item and the original shipping costs are non-refundable.
I do not take responsibility for or replace any jewellery that has clearly not been cared for appropriately as per the recommendations in the care guide.
