A unique piece of Lake District art - a detailed skyline illustration of the Cumbrian Lake District's most iconic landmarks.
Great as a gift for any Cumbrian, or as a gift for someone who loves visiting the Lakes. It could also make a lovely wedding or engagement gift, and can even be personalised with names and a date.
My illustration was drawn using pen and ink, by hand, and has then been digitally manipulated to come up with the final image. It features Skiddaw, Derwentwater, the Windermere Launch, Wordsworth's Dove Cottage, the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop, Bridge House at Ambleside, Beatrix Potter's Hilltop Farm, Keswick Pencil Museum, Moot Hall and the Castlerigg Stone Circle. There's also a little Herdwick sheep, some little sailing boats, the Bassenthwaite ospreys and a little paraglider.
I grew up in Cumbria and went to school in Keswick, so this has been a lovely project to complete - and it feels very close to my heart!
The print itself is available in a standard or a larger size.
You can choose to add a coloured arc - or "sunshine" - to the background of your skyline; and you can also choose to add a single line of personalised text to the bottom of the image.
You can also choose for your print to arrive wrapped in your choice of Becka Griffin Illustration wrapping papers and tag. This is a useful option if you are running short on time or you are sending a gift direct. Please ensure you have included a message if you'd like your gift-tag to arrive already hand-written.
