Born Bespoke

I developed Born Bespoke when I had my little girl, Lucinda. I wanted to find her a pair of 'special keepsake' shoes which I could keep for her in a memory box, but was unable to find this anywhere.

I have a background in shoe making after spending 4 years at Cordwainers College which is the same small leather college that Jimmy Choo, Patrick Cox and many other top shoe designers went to. So using my skills I started developing my own, ever expanding range of personalised baby shoes which can be kept as a keepsake. Quality and comfort are very impotant to Born Bespoke and we take alot of time individually making each shoe by hand.

Chiropodists now recommend soft shoes for babies and toddlers as much as possible, unlike hard soled shoes they let delicate little feet develop and strengthen naturally. Soft, good quality leather is ideal for baby shoes as it is breathable (babies feet sweat twice as much as adults!) and hard wearing. The suede soles have excellent grip for babies who are on their feet - or trying!
