I'm Carrie Fertig and I am passionate about making objects that speak to the heart. I started my business in Manhattan in 1986, when I sold to museum shops and design stores.

I also am an interdisciplinary artist working in performance, video, installation, and sculpture. Some of these artworks are on a monumental scale. Many of the items you will find in the shop are components of much larger artworks like the feathers which come from my site-specific installation Homing, a 6x5.5x5 meter pair of glass dove wings in Chichester Cathedral, and the icicles from Ausklingen (Fade Away) in the Veste Coburg, the castle in Germany Prince Albert is from.
