Portobello Road is known as one of the funkiest street markets in London, but few are aware of the inspiring culinary secrets peppered throughout this famous neighbourhood.
As a former Notting Hill resident, Celia is armed with all the local foodie knowledge and lets you in on the scene of fabulous food shops and eateries; some trendy, some classic.
You'll taste many treats, including fine hams, cheeses and olives, and samples from artisan market stalls. You'll also unearth culinary treasures like exotic herbs and spices, cookbooks and tableware, and savour a gin tasting at a modern gin palace with tasty nibbles to match. The day concludes with a special chocolate tasting in the kitchen of a unique chocolate boutique.

LOCATION: Portobello Market, London. Ladbroke Grove and Notting Hill Gate Underground stations are roughly 10 minutes' walk.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Tours take place on selected Sundays, from 10.30am-1.30pm.
All tasters and samples are included in the price, so there's no need to bring anything on the day (other than a bottle of water and an appetite).
Most diets can be catered for but if you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate. Please note: described tastings may vary slightly.
Usual group size is up to 12 people. As the tour is conducted on foot, we advise wearing comfy shoes.
This experience is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Minimum age 18.
