Homegrown and Traditionally Pressed Flowers Art Giclee Prints
From a young age I have enjoyed nature and the outdoors. My grandparents kept beautiful gardens, growing their own fruits, flowers and vegetables. Naturally, I was first introduced to flower pressing in my childhood using a small wooden press I was gifted for a birthday. As the demands of education took over, I lost my connection with gardening until I left University and moved into my first home.
I have established my modest sized garden in Kent over the last ten years, mainly by raising plants from seeds or by taking cuttings from friends and family. I also enjoy growing fruits and vegetables. This is my main self-care activity, it keeps me grounded, in the present moment and yet always invested in tomorrow and a hopeful future (something at least always blooms).
