Agnes Walker takes its name from the great-grandmother of designer-maker, Abby Gadd. Her long life spanned 98 years from the mid-Victorian period to the 1960s: a century of great change in our culture and of enormous fascination to Abby. Bringing her background as an academic historian into her design work, Abby combines Victorian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco influences with a modern aesthetic and approach. She designs distinctive and collectible accessories for women who love personal pieces that make them feel connected to women of the past.
