Kits to hand stitch your own felt animal Chums

Cherishedchums all started by accident! I have always stitched one way or another so when I had to give up my day job, I took up sewing kits by other people. I then thought that I might like to have a go at designing my own felt animals. I posted my first one on social media and was inundated with requests for the pattern. This then led onto supplying felts too and thus my kits were born.

I feel very privileged now to have my hobby as my job. I’m passionate about my creations and really hope that you enjoy making my Chums as much as I do. New designs are always beings worked on so please keep on visiting my shop to see what your next project could be!

So this is me, Jo and I’m Headgirl at Cherishedchums HQ. I’m loving my new day job and the fact that I choose what needs to be done and when. I try hard with my IT skills but much prefer getting my needle out either making my Chums or trying out new embroidery stitches. I have also enjoyed running workshops recently, helping others to take up the stress buster that is stitching.

As Covid restrictions hit us all, people started taking up more craft related hobbies. My patterns were requested firstly from friends and then from their friends. Then someone asked if I could supply the materials too, and so my kits then developed into what I hope you will enjoy making yourself.
