Made in Britain - Each sculpture is hand sculpted by Annie, founder of China Dawgs in her lakeside studio cabin in Hampshire, England.
Process - Using reference photos, Annie skillfully hand sculpts the head using stoneware paperclay. The head is then left to completely dry before being bisque fired. The piece is then meticulously hand painted with glazes before being glaze fired in her kiln at the back of the studio.
Reference photos are requested, including a clear close up of the face and head with specific markings and a photo from the side, above and behind, helping Annie to capture every detail.

Personalisation: The pets name will be inscribed on the back
Packaging: China Dawgs is an eco-conscious small business and all Annie’s pieces are carefully packaged in sustainable, biodegradable packaging and she recycles and reuses materials where possible.
Dimensions: The sculpture is offered in standard of around 20-25 cms wide and tall range (depending on the size of the dog) but Annie can make them smaller or larger on request which can be discussed in the commission process.
