A Bit about Coy Biscuit

Coy Biscuit is an edible art gifting company. We specialise in creating intricate royal icing decorated biscuits, with a focus on inclusivity.

Our micro-bakery, founded by former illustrator Esi Essel in 2017, is based in East London.

This tiny 1 1/2 woman team has aimed to create something unique within the luxury food & gifting market. As mentioned, we have a focus on inclusivity; Our niche is that our handmade biscuits celebrate body and sex positivity through elegant imagery.

At Coy Biscuit, we have one goal and one goal only. To please. We want all of our clients to be 100% satisfied.

Coy Biscuit consists of a very small but dedicated team and we try our utmost to find solutions for everyone's budget.

We have spent years honing our baking and icing skills in order to be able to recreate pretty much anything with icing.

The quality of biscuits will always be top top tier because we don't cut corners here!

Mission Statement

Many of our custom biscuits depict people, therefore representing as many different types of people is essential to us as we all come in different shapes, sizes and colours. We want everyone to go through our socials or our website and feel included and not forgotten or othered. This also makes our clients feel at ease when making requests as they know everything will be handled without judgement but with excitement!

Our Recipe:

We also want to be inclusive regarding our recipes. More and more of us have dietary requirements; some ethical, some religious and some based on food sensitivities and allergies. Our recipe is vegan friendly (no dairy and no eggs) and comes in a rich toasty vanilla bean flavour. We also occasionally dabble in seasonal flavours!

Colours

The colour of the cookies you receive may not exactly match the colour as displayed by on the digital mock up as food colouring shades may vary slightly and each shade is mixed by eye to create a match that is as close as possible.

We cannot be held liable for biscuits being decorated incorrectly (personalisation), due to you providing us incorrect information.

Returns

As our biscuits are perishable goods we are not able to offer refunds or exchanges. However if your biscuits arrive damaged or you have received the wrong biscuits please contact us immediately and we will send a replacement, offer a refund, a partial refund or a discount on a case by case basis.
