This a gorgeous and surprisingly realistic brooch shaped like a strawberry and made from 100 per cent recycled silver.
What could be more fun and summery than this little strawberry brooch? I was inspired to make this by the strawberries ripening in my garden and it is deliberately simple and lightweight and evocative of sunny days and cream teas! In the shape of a strawberry, it is textured, oxidised and polished to give a surprisingly lifelike result. It is entirely handmade from 100% sterling silver and stamped .925. Here at Dale Virginia Designs I am mindful of environmental impact and use recycled silver as standard wherever possible.
The strawberry measures 3.8cm by 2.2cm and is fixed with a simple pin.
All my work is individually handmade and your strawberry may not be identical in every detail to the one pictured but it will be every bit as luscious and delightful.
