From a Tiny Bedroom to Our Own Studio

Yvonne found ddmmyyyy a decade ago in a tiny bedroom in Hong Kong. With a mere 2 square meters of space, she embarked on the journey in the world of leathercraft. Despite the limitations, the tiny space became the breeding ground for our design philosophy, focusing on simplicity, artistry, and impeccable craftsmanship. After the significant move to Edinburgh, she is able to unleash our creativity and push the boundaries of her craft. Despite the geographical shift, her commitment to simplicity and artistry remains at the core of ddmmyyyy.

She dove into the world of leather craft, bringing with her expertise from her role as a creative and art director in advertising. Her approach to leatherwork is marked by creativity and experimentation, with a keen focus on colour, form and texture. She is constantly on the lookout for innovative ways to craft unique products that leave a lasting impression.
