About Me

Illustrator + Print Maker

Hi, I'm Molly, the face behind Delightfully Chaotic Co.

I started the Delightfully Chaotic Co. in 2017 after finishing my A-levels and feeling unsure of what the future held for me, I took a diversion from my academic roots and explored my creative side. I now specialise in creating original pieces of art that are digitally illustrated and printed onto an acid-free cardstock.

My aim is to create art and decor that brings not only aesthetic value to your space but which also encourages and empowers. The majority of my designs include quotes centred around mental wellbeing, whether it's in the form of a hand-lettered sticker stuck to your mirror, or a larger 11" x 14" print displayed in your home, I hope these designs evoke feelings of positivity and hope for the future.

Alongside art prints, I also create a range of greeting cards and illustrated sets of stickers. All of which I make from my home in North Devon.

How it's Made

The process of designing and creating my art prints.

All of my designs start out life digital illustrations, the majority of which are centred around hand lettering. I like to use earthy colour palettes when designing, these muted tones feel gentle and calm. A lot of my work is created using ‘pencil’ brushes as this creates a beautifully organic feel to the design; the edges are crisp without being harsh, a feeling which is amplified by the mottled texture of the card I use to print all of my artwork onto.

Once completed, I either print the design in-house, or I carve the design out of a piece of lino and then hand print it using oil-based inks onto 250gsm textured off-white card.

My stickers are made using a similar process, except they are printed onto glossy water-resistant sticker paper and then cut out using my Cricut cutter; a machine that uses a blade to cut around each sticker design.

All of my work is then packaged in glassine paper sleeves, which are biodegradable and recyclable.
