Dimpsey Glamping is a luxurious shepherd's hut glamping retreat based on an idyllic small farm in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, Somerset. Being cut off from the hectic city life, your stay at Dimpsey Glamping will be truly magical and will allow you to appreciate the best that nature has to offer as well as enjoying the local activities.

Our shooting break is ideal for beginners and experienced shots alike. The Ling Shooting school run by Ed Ling and his wife Abbey is based near Wellington in Somerset, 30 minutes drive from us. This two night stay for two people package includes a 25 shot experience package for one person - which is arranged directly with the Shooting School once you book your break with us here at Dimpsey.
We are available both weekdays (£375 for a two night stay) and weekends/peak times (£415 for a two night stay).
The Have A Go Clay Pigeon Shooting is all inclusive with this payment and gives you a one hour experience for one person at Ling Shooting.
LOCATION: Beetham Farm, Chard, Somerset, TA20 3PY. The nearest small towns are Chard and Ilminster, with Taunton (20 minutes) and Exeter (35 minutes) being the larger towns in the vicinity.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The hut will be ready and waiting for you to arrive any time after 3pm. We understand that there is nothing worse than rushing around when you have to leave early so you don’t have to “check out” until 11am on the day of departure. We want staying in the hut to feel like a luxury hotel, so we’ve tried to go the extra mile to make it really comfortable for you, ensuring that all the styling is from British designers and adding in extra little treats to delight you. The hut is 18 feet long and contains a double bed, seating, kitchen area and a bathroom with shower and flushing toilet.
Please note the the Shooting School is not on our farm and is located 30 minutes drive away from us.
