Emily Woodard founded E.C Woodard Studio in 2016.

Emily is a freelance illustrator from London; These diverse strains – formal and iconographic – coalesce to offer the viewer a menagerie of animal characters engaged in surprising but always believable activities and juxtaposed with unlikely objects or settings. The breadth of Woodard’s reference is matched by a constantly inventive wit and remarkable technical skill, both in terms of elegance of line and adventurous sense of colour. Indeed, her juxtapositions of objects and animals are often echoed in brave and sometimes unlikely palette combinations.

All elements of Emily's work is hand crafted, the detail of which is captured beautifully on fine-art matte paper, using archive quality inks for her art prints and her stationary is eco-friendly created on recycled paper using vegetable-based inks.

The E.C Woodard range includes art prints, original artwork, greetings cards and gift-wrap.
