All About Us

Florence and Flowers use traditional floristry methods to create bespoke dried flower designs for weddings, homes and more.

Hi, I'm Carly, a florist, farmers wife and Mum to four children, two dogs, two cats, two sheep and a flock of inquisitive chickens.

Florence and Flowers was born on my kitchen table in the depths of the Suffolk countryside and encompasses many of the things I love: flowers, colour and rustic whimsical design. Combining natural dried flowers with preserved foliage and dyed vibrant flowers results in beautiful and long lasting designs.

Florence and Flowers has grown over the years into a small team of dedicated women, who each bring a wealth of design ideas, skill and organisation. We now have two workshops, one on the farm and one which also acts as a retail shop from which flowers are made, tea is drunk and much laughter abounds.

What do we make and why are we different?

Focusing initially on wedding arrangements for several years, this depth of experience was turned to designing home décor and make your own kits following the pandemic in 2020 and the resulting impact on the wedding industry.

We are delighted that weddings are back on the agenda but also enjoy making designs for the home and love producing "make your own" kits which enable customers to have a go at some floristry their selves.

Why are we different? Everything we make is made to order. Therefore requests for colour changes, design tweaks and more can be easily encompassed. With many years of shared floristry experience within the team we know what works and (more importantly) what doesn't when creating long lasting arrangements.

We will only use the best quality dried flowers and preserved foliage and have developed tried and tested methods of packaging which ensure your item arrives in great condition.
