About us

Colourful, quirky, hand crafted ceramics bringing joy to your everyday.

Florence Mytum Ceramics was founded by British artist Florence, who uses her background as a sculptor to design and create bold, colourful and tactile ceramics. After completing her MA from the Slade School of Fine Art, she launched Florence Mytum Ceramics in 2020.

Designed to bring joy to the everyday, we create sculptural vases, playful mugs and colourful candle holders. These pieces are both decorative, sculptural and functional. In opposition to mass production, everything is thoughtfully designed and ethically handmade in small batches out of our East London studio, making each piece completely unique. Our pieces are for those looking to support contemporary craft, and invest in joyful, distinctive and handcrafted pieces for their homes.

We have been featured in The Times, ELLE, Grazia, Stylist and Homes & Gardens. Our pieces are currently stocked in a variety of lifestyle stores and galleries including Anthropologie, Trouva and Camden Arts Centre. In 2019 we were shortlisted for the National Sculpture Prize and were commissioned by ITV to create a sculpture which was broadcast as an ident across national television.
