There are literally thousands of varieties of flowers out there, but sadly you’re not likely to see them on the high street.
There are fewer florists, hardly any markets, and supermarkets dominate the industry with mass-produced, low-priced, machine-arranged flowers (yes, machines really do arrange flowers!).
So, this means that all flowers look the same in every shop. You get home, ‘plonk’ them in a vase and that’s it. Slightly underwhelming.
Our passion stems from the love of our own family home, which was always filled with fresh flowers from the garden. By combining Sean’s commercial background and mine as an experienced UK florist, our aim is to change what the flower market can offer.
Our purpose for FlowerBe is simple: "to make beautiful flowers an expression of your creativity."
For our Luxury Flower Boxes:-
Your first box of flowers will be sent out on the closest Friday, however orders placed after 6pm on Mondays will be delivered a week Friday. All deliveries are made on Fridays but if you'd like to choose a specific Friday for this to be delivered then simply contact us to arrange your desired date.
For our 'Botanical' boxes:-
Our Botanical box is up to 48 hours delivery, we do not deliver on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. For subscriptions, the first delivery will be within 48hours, the following deliveries will be dispatched in our monthly subscription cycles.
NB For all 'Tracked' purchases via Royal Mail (+£6.95), we send the first delivery tracked (by 1pm) and but not subsequent deliveries. If you wish to have all deliveries tracked, please place your order and make a request on the order and we will ensure this is arranged as a separate payment with each delivery being £6.95 additional for tracked.
The BFA has spoken to the Department for Business Innovation & Skills who have stated “Flower shops have to close to the public. Florists can trade on-line, can also accept telephone calls (i.e for funeral work) and florists can deliver.”
Despite the "call to stay at home", official government departments are encouraging small businesses who have the facility to safely operate contactless by phone or online to do so. The gov.uk website clearly states "Online retail is still open and encouraged and postal and delivery service will run as normal."

ROYAL MAIL DELIVERY ITEM POLICY
In order to offer the best price we can, the Botanical box is sent via Royal Mail. We have successfully delivered thousands of our boxes this way. If you'd like to send your Botanical tracked, please contact us. If your box does not arrive, or arrives damaged, we will offer a replacement. For a refund we will need to wait until after 7 working days have passed, in line Royal Mail’s delivery terms.
We have specifically designed the botanical using relevant flowers which can be kept out of water for more than 48 hours. There is also included in every box package, directions explaining that the plants must be put in water and clipped immediately after arriving with the customer. If you believe that your flowers are damaged or bad quality, you will need to provide photographic or video evidence and we reserve the right determine the health of the plant now in your possession.
We only accept damaged claims 24hrs after delivery of your order.
Will my order arrive on the day I select?
We dispatch our orders with the intention to arrive on your selected delivery date using Royal Mail 24. Your order should arrive within 24hrs, however due to delays via Royal Mail or events that are out of our control, we're unable to guarantee delivery on that date. If your order does not arrive within 48hrs after dispatch, please get in touch.
FEDEX ITEM POLICY
Refund Policy Orders are are sent via FedEx. We have successfully delivered thousands of our boxes this way. If you'd like to send your order tracked, before delivery you will receive your tracking number if you have any questions please contact us. Items are packed in tissue paper and flower transport gel to ensure the best protection of the products.
We need to be alerted up to 5 days after scheduled delivery if the flowers are damaged or if the item has not arrived or delivered to the wrong address.
If your box does not arrive, or arrives damaged, we may offer a replacement. For a refund we will need to wait until after 7 working days have passed, in line FedEx's delivery terms, you can visit .
All attempted deliveries are easier followed up initially via FedEx as we cannot contact on your behalf for Data Protection rules and regulation, you can visit FedEx’s customer services on 0345 600 0068 to open a claim if you have had a problem with the delivery of your item or have not received the package or a delivery note. There is also included in every box package, directions explaining that the plants must be put in water and clipped immediately after arriving with the customer. If you believe that your flowers are damaged, we only accept damaged claims after 24h, you will need to provide photographic or video evidence and we reserve the right determine the health of the plant now in your possession.
