Fool's Gold

Fool’s Gold is a demi-fine jewellery brand. Designed for the individual who loves to wear beautiful jewellery with a modern take on more traditional designs.

Launched during the 2020 lockdown it was founded by Lisa Godwin after 15 years working in the industry.

With inspiration taken from art, architecture and Art Deco design, each piece is crafted from recycled silver and 14ct gold vermeil. Set with ethically sourced diamonds and a kaleidoscope of gemstones.

Lisa’s obsession with jewellery began when she was very young. By the age of five, she was in business, selling her creations to family and friends.

Inspired by her love of jewellery, Lisa went on to graduate with a degree in jewellery design. She built a career as a jeweller for a reputable company, but her dream of starting her own brand was never far from mind.

Lisa took some time out to have her three boys and started drawing her own designs. Influenced by art, architecture, and the geometric patterns found in Art Deco design, she created a substantial portfolio of sketches.

It was time to make her dream, a reality. Lisa launched Fool’s Gold in 2020.
