This stunning Woodcut Bee Artwork is our version of the iconic Manchester Bee.

Being based in the North West we've always been familiar with the Manchester Bee, in recent times its gone on to represent strength, resiliance and the character of the area in which we grew up. We wanted to produce a version of the bee that we could call our own, and finish in our own unique way.

The Bee relief is cut in to a 3mm ply which is then painted yellow and mounted on to a black backing. This gives the whole picture a fantastic 3d feel. It is a perfect gift for anyone who loves Manchester or the North and appreciates the type of contemporary design the city excels in.
