Spreading love, not chemicals

Hi my name is Rachel, and I started Fruits of the Nut Tree.

I started this business when I was battling with Anorexia and what I found was so important for my recovery is encompassed in everything Fruits of the Nut Tree is about. Something I learnt was the importance of showing yourself care, allowing yourself time to relax with a face mask or rubbing some cream onto your skin, showing yourself that you deserve to treat yourself, you deserve your own time and love.

I was also very lucky to have some amazing people around me, because sometimes, we all just need someone to remind us of things we block in our thoughts, and so with messages “Thank you for being so wonderful”, “All I want to do is give you a great big hug” and “I hope you realise just how amazing you are” I hope I can be a part of helping spread the love.

The other massive really important part of my recovery was nature, and the incredible energy of our beautiful natural world, and how powerful it is to care for and protect this. Unfortunately at the moment we are producing and using so many man-made chemicals and our planet is just not designed for this. By eliminating all chemicals and using only organically sourced ingredients, together we can make a difference and show that there is a powerful alternative to letting these chemicals seep into our skin, wash down the plughole, run into our seas and then seep into the skin of our wildlife. And this doesn’t just help the planet, but your bodies largest organ, your skin, will feel the difference too.
