Hi, Francis Gimblett here.

Gimblett's Tastings are prepared and video-hosted by me and my wife Pam.

We have distilled over thirty-years experience of winemaking, cheesemaking, cidermaking and staging over 3000 tasting events (for our company Taste of the Vine) into these game masterclasses, and we are proud to say we think they offer the best way to have fun with home tasting. Immodest, but hey!

Natives of the South Downs, Pam was a farmer’s daughter and I was studying winemaking when we met. In 1997, after respective periods in food studies and working in wineries, we started Taste of the Vine, providing fun and interactive tastings with wine, beer, whisky, gin and cider. Keen to make something, as well as talk about it, in 2015 we built a cheesemaking diary, producing 'Floyd' a soft-washed rind cheese popular with local farm shops and delicatessens.

The experience with cheese prompted me to travel around the country to compile Gimblett’s Guide to the Best of British Cheeses, available online or at your favourite cheesemonger.

The packs are thoroughly tried and tested, as we sent out over 7500 during lockdown to our corporate client groups, and now they are available here exclusively on Not On The High Street for individual gifts.
