Janie studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins School of Art, and went on to study millinery at Kensington & Chelsea College and Morley College in London. She has exhibited at London and Paris Fashion Week, The Designer Wedding Show and The National Wedding Show. Her millinery is regularly featured in Marie Claire, Red, Vogue, Elle, You, The Telegraph, Glamour, You & Your Wedding and Your London Wedding. The Glam Hatters Hen Parties were also recently featured on Rock My Wedding.
