Black Poppy Brooch

Our classic Poppy Brooch inspired by the wild poppies that grew in profusion in 'no mans land'during the Great War was created to remember all the victims of The First world War and all subsequent wars.

Painted black to especially remember and respect all the people of colour who were the victims of war. Also worn as a symbol of mourning.

Supplied in a smart black card jewellery box with authenticating label to make a lovely gift.

Designed, made and hand painted by the partners at their rural Welsh studios.

We have painted the brooch purple to remember all the animals who were the victims of war; white to express opposition to war, and finally the traditional red poppy that is familiar to all.
