Welcome to Green Roots Wine, we are a team of three people with sustainability at the heart of everything we do. Coalescing our passion for the environment with our love of wine.

Every decision we have made in the creation of these wines has put the Earth first, ensuring our delicious wines are better for the planet from grape to glass. We only work with wineries who are committed to low-impact, sustainable farming methods. We ship our wines in the most sustainable manner possible, saving over 67% of the GHG emissions of a 'normal' wine. Our packaging partners generate their own, renewable, energy while creating sustainable jobs in the North East of England. All of our aluminium is created in a one-in, one-out facility, zero new aluminium is created in the process and our cans are 100% recyclable.

We work with two charities that are working towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals - Cool Earth, who protect endangered rainforests and Carula Foundation who operate a school that educates girls from rural communities in Ethiopia.
