Nicky has always been creative - many close friends would call her a serial crafter! It was after years of experimenting with a variety of arts when she found clay. After lots of practice, mistakes as well as successes, Nicky realised she was making things people loved and wanted to own, which is how our little brand Habulous was founded. Why 'Habulous'? Well, the name was actually made up by her daughter, combining “Happy and Fabulous”, which sums up how creating with clay makes our team feel.
We would love to see traditional crafts grow again and for us all to move away from the mass produced, which is why our handmade products are so special to us; each piece is totally unique, lovingly and carefully crafted entirely by hand.
The Habulous studio is situated in the beautiful and contrasting county of Devon on Dartmoor, England, a source of constant inspiration for Nicky and her team. Habulous’ small team all contribute their own artistic ideas and abilities, adding to authentic nature of our product ranges.
SHIPPING TIMES
Ceramics are heavy and fragile. We pack all of our work with care and send via Royal Mail second class recorded delivery as standard, this service usually takes 2 to 3 working days. Please allow up to 3 working days for your packages to be dispatched. We are a small team working as fast as possible to get your package safely to you. Orders over 2kg are sent via courier. This service may take longer, from dispatch your order should be with you in 3 to 5 working days. For orders that have not arrived within these time scales please check tracking information in case of a missed delivery.
INCOMPLETE/INCORRECT ADDRESS
If the parcel is returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address, you will have to repay the postage cost if you would like us to resend. Please see our Terms Info.
UNCLAIMED DELIVERY
If no one is in when the parcel arrives, Royal Mail will take it to the nearest postal unit. You must go to the local office with the tracking code we provided in your dispatch confirmation and ask for the package. Parcels are usually kept at the post office for 2 weeks before being returned. If your parcel is returned to us we can repost and would require you to pay for the additional postage. PLEASE NOTE: if any items, that include a living plant are returned to us you may have to purchase a new plant in addition to postage cost.
RETURNS
Please ensure you obtain proof of postage. Refunds will be less our postage and packaging costs of £4 standard delivery, as well as the cost of anything perishable such as an air plant. We are only able to refund items that arrive back to us safely. Please see our terms for more information.

PLEASE READ IN REGARDS TO AIR PLANTS: We take great care to ensure our air plants leave us in top condition. Unfortunately, due to the perishable nature of air plants we will only be able to exchange or refund if the plant arrives damaged. Please notify us immediately if the plant has been damaged in transit, including images. The air plants can have natural browning on them which is not a sign of poor health. It is up to you to care for your air plant, but no need to worry, we provide all the necessary information about your air plant's nature and specific care on our Habulous website blog which is also provided on a leaflet in the package.
RETURNS: When returning items we would advise you to ask for proof of postage. All items must be packaged carefully to ensure the protection of the piece/s. Returns are at your expense, we would suggest following the packing instructions above. Visit your preferred courier site/Royal Mail for details on how to send back to us. Our returns address is: Habulous, 25 Merrivale View Road, Dousland, Devon, PL20 6NS.
Incorrect, damaged or faulty items are fully exchangable and items we are unable to exchange we will refund accordingly. Please allow 3-5 days following confirmation of receipt for refunds to appear back on your card. Refunds will be confirmed by email on receipt of the return and processed within a period of no more than 14 days. None of the above conditions affect your statutory rights. We only accept returns within 14 days of your package's delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: If you either place an order with the incorrect delivery address or your order is not collected, you can opt to refund or redeliver. Refunds will be less our delivery charge and redelivery will need to be repaid via our postage listing. We are a small business so we can't afford to repay postage costs, thank you for your understanding.
