Hannah Grace specialises in contemporary botanical prints & illustrations, inspired by the natural world

Being an illustrator of plants and wildlife, HG remains a lifelong nature fanatic - and spends much of her time immersed in the landscapes that she loves to draw!

HG's inspirational work is a celebration of the natural world and includes a number of playful prints and illustrations of plants, insects and animals. These celebrate the wonder of nature whether found in a garden, under a hedgerow, along a riverbank or beside a sandy shore.

Her work is full of little surprises - ladybirds and butterflies hiding amongst some foliage or perhaps a bird peering out from behind a branch laden with berries. Each illustration is carefully designed to give you something lovely to look at and enjoy.

HG believes that we can all benefit from having nature around us and if we can’t physically immerse ourselves in it, then what is better than having beautiful prints to remind ourselves of the joy that the natural can bring.

Creative Process

All about the plant knowledge

Frequent trips to botanical gardens, forests and woodland help to inspire HG in the creation of her images. These start their life as hand drawn illustrations which are then translated into digital prints using a varied palette of pastels and vibrant colour

A love for learning about plants encouraged HG to study for an RHS Horticulture Level 2 and her work is often dotted with snippets of useful information - such as interesting latin names, or the medicinal uses for herbs.
