We are a family run company based in Dorset, UK, and we produce house numbers and house names from the highest quality laser cut stainless steel.
Housenumbers Limited is a family run e-commerce business based in North Dorset.
The company was established in 2005 by Katherine & Charles Ellis, after their family failed to find a house number they loved for a new house extension. Our number 17 in a circle, which now forms part of our corporate image, was admired by friends and neighbours to such an extent that the business just took off from word of mouth recommendations. It is now run day to day by daughter Josie, with Katherine and Charles still on board, plus their small and dedicated team who help bring everything together.
We now feature a selection of our most popular products on Not on the High Street.
The business prides itself on the fact that all its products are designed and manufactured here in the UK and we want to keep supporting British manufacturing and jobs.
All our products are laser cut from 3mm quality 304 grade stainless steel and carefully hand finished. Many items are made to order.
Our small team live and work in rural Dorset, our workshop is based on Manor Farm in Sixpenny Handley!
We believe in supporting British jobs and manufacturing, which is why all our products are designed and hand finished in-house, after being laser cut here in the UK! We also believe in offering outstanding customer care and every order is important to us, from each online retail order to large scale corporate orders for new-build estates, and every beautiful bespoke sign in between; we will make sure you are delivered a high quality service and product. Twice a month we batch-produce bespoke signage to our customers' specific requirements, and we specialise in helping you create something truly unique for your home.
All of our stainless steel house numbers are kept in stock for a quick turn around, after your numbers have been hand finished to order. Our bespoke products are laser cut on a batch cycle approximately every two weeks, therefore the lead time can be up to four weeks, depending on when you order in our batch cycle. Please contact us for more information.
