Isla & Wilbur

Isla & Wilbur has been created by Hamish & Emma Dalrymple, parents of Isla and uncle and aunt to Wilbur, who we went to visit in America in 2013. Whilst we were there, eyeing up Wilbur’s stylish nursery, we realised there was a place in the UK market for stylish nursery products printed with hand-drawn illustrations.

We then drew upon our own innocent childhood memories and upbringing – on a farm in Scotland and on a farm in the Cotswolds respectively – and the idea of Isla & Wilbur was born.

Isla & Wilbur brings you the gentlest and sweetest eco-friendly bedding for children and babies, as well as the all-important super soft large muslin swaddles. For bed and cot linen, there are four different designs, which include adorable, hand-drawn illustrations of Isla, the little lamb and Wilbur, the highland calf. These illustrations are printed on to our wonderfully soft cotbed sheets, single bed sheets, pillowcases and single duvet covers which are made from 100% organic cotton percale and woven to 300-thread count .

The snuggly muslin swaddles are made from 100% bamboo rayon fibre, a gentle and breathable material, perfect for swaddling newborns and also known for its environmentally friendly qualities. Careful thought has gone into each part of the design and making of each product to ensure first and foremost, comfort as well as being practical (machine washable), eco-friendly and in colours that complement contemporary interior design.

Isla & Wilbur will be joined in time by various other farmyard characters which we feel sure parents and children will love.
