When my son was small, he loved to dress up. Not just for parties and special occasions, but every day. For him it was a way of life.

I loved to watch him transform into the hero of his imagination; fighting dragons, exploring outer space and navigating his way to the North Pole and realised what an important part of childhood imagination plays

As his adventures grew, so did his requests for costumes. I noticed a gap in the market for tasteful, high quality costumes and set about creating a mix’n’match range in bold colours using high quality materials with design savvy parents and energetic kids in mind

My background as a costumier in the film & TV industry, my training as a textile designer and my experience as a parent placed me in a unique position. Demand quickly grew and iwishiwasa… was born.
