JackJames Furniture

JackJames Furniture is collaboration between designer/makers Jackie Brett-Holt and James Read. We graduated through the Building Crafts College Fine Woodwork course in the summer of 2014, then decided to join forces once we realised we share a similar design aesthetic and meticulous attention to detail in the making process. JackJames Furniture works on various bespoke projects, but specialise in making beautiful furniture and innovative storage solutions.

All of JackJames Furnitures pieces are hand made to order by Jackie and/or James in our studio in East London. To create such beautiful furniture we employ a mixture of traditional cabinet maker techniques with more modern construction methods, and almost exclusively work in solid hardwoods.

We have designed a range of furniture that is only available through NOTHS. The "Flynn" range comprises a coffee table, set of stools, modular shelving solutions and a wall mounted bureau. "Flynn" is an exploration of geometry, colour, materials and function, and will work as stand alone pieces or as a group.

Fusion is JJFs second range to feature exclusively on Not On The High Street. Beginning with the gorgeous kitchen table, the range is set to expand into other pieces in the not too distant future.
