We're delighted to have sourced and be supporting the work of pcf.org whose projects include these fair-trade made products, manufactured by recycling and re-using the aluminium ring pulls from canned drinks.
By purchasing one of these you are making a real difference to some of the poorest and disadvantaged people of the Philippine’s, by providing a valued and sustainable source of income for the local women who make them. The project provide multiple health and education programmes, benefitting hundreds of people and their families who are now working in safe healthy environments making these artisan products.

Occasionally due to the fragile nature of the Smarty Lamps range they get damaged in transit.
PLEASE CHECK THE CONDITION OF YOUR LAMPSHADE BY OPENING THE BOX IN FRONT OF THEM PLEASE. IF DAMAGED, PLEASE REFUSE DELIVERY DUE TO DAMAGE AND MAKE SURE THE COURIER MAKES A NOTE OF THIS, THEN INFORM US.
The majority of lampshade orders to UK addresses are send by DPD Local, an efficient courier service which gives the customer a delivery window by text and its easy to re-arrange delivery to suit your needs. Unfortunately the cost of cardboard boxes and delivery has risen considerably and is irretrievable when customers customers change their mind, so please bear this in mind when placing an order, thank you. We often use recycled cardboard to save on costs as well as being more eco-friendly so please understand the packaging does not reflect the product, once installed or in use.

Our lampshades come fully assembled and packaged in a cardboard box, ready for use. Therefore please expect a large sized box for some of the larger designs. Please check the dimensions and make sure you can get it in the house! and don't order multiple Elektras without being sure they will fit your space and you like them. They are very big and the packaging itself is expensive.If you can possibly return an Elektra with the box we can re-use the box as they cost us over £25. Which is lost profit margin for us as a business when returned.
Several items have an express delivery option allowing us to despatch your order to arrive the next day.
Should you wish to return an item, please ensure that you contact us before sending the item back and await instructions. Lampshades need to be dismantled and flatpacked before return. Please return your lampshade by dismantling it completely as it can then be posted in a jiffy bag.

We aim to dispatch within 3 to 5 days after purchase on a next day service. Weekends are not included as it costs more for a Saturday delivery, but can be arranged.
International delivery is available on selected products. Large or heavy items such as the deckchairs will incur a higher shipping cost when sent overseas.
