Our artisan apron is the perfect gift for cooks, crafters, woodworkers, barbers, butchers, bakers, candlestick makers....or simply the person youre thinking of.
As with all our products, these aprons can also be personalised with initials or a name to create a lasting gift that is truly bespoke and unique. We can also make the main body of the apron in Bright Red or White leather on request.
Our durable standard design comprises hand cut pieces of leather with straps attached by rivets, which fasten via buckles. It can be ordered as a traditional ‘over-the-head’ strap version, or with a ‘cross-back-strap’, which makes the apron super comfortable to wear and is recommended for prolonged use.
To avoid wastage of the leather we try to use all available parts of the leather and as such the main 'bib' of the apron may be made from either a single piece of leather or from several stitched panels. Regardless of this configuration of the leather, all aprons are very strong, durable and will fuction fully in the same way - so please be advised that your order may be made from a single piece of leather or stitched panels depending on what material is currently available.
Although a "Traditional" apron neck strap is available for all colour versions, we do particularly recommend the cross-back "comfort" version of the strap configuration, especially if the apron will be worn for extended periods.
NB: We DO NOT have any of the 'multi-piece' Cognac 'Distressed Highland' leather aprons currently in stock. The only options available are the wipe-clean aprons in smooth Mid Brown, Dark Brown, Black, Cognac, yew green, burgundy, stone or Red leather (see images)
