Josephine loves the colourful and exotic world of wildlife!

As an illustrator and printmaker she is inspired by the natural world, particularly rare and wonderfully unusual animals to create beautiful hand-crafted prints.

Josephine's prints are designed and hand printed using linocut, woodcut or screenprinting techniques. Prints are created in small limited editions, often using at least four colours to produce the final result. She is also inspired by bold patterns, graphic shapes and forms which adds a decorative touch to her prints.

Josephine likes to portray the wildlife on her designs as loveable characters- varying from cheekiness and cuteness to sometimes just bizarre. Her characters see the fun side of life, which makes them perfect for children as well as adults. With their bright colours, they will make anyone smile.
