A little read up to know what you are buying...

-The bag you buy from us are not churned out in 100's from a factory production line.

-They are handcrafted individually and hence may be subject to a natural minimal variation in size and colour.

-The distressed leather which is our most popular leather hides used for our bags have been processed and tanned to give the finished leather an antique / vintage / worn out look.

-This means each hide may be slightly different from the next, e.g. the grain on the hide may be a little uneven or have natural marks on it. Few scuffs, scratches, crunch marks on the leather is all character of the distressed leather giving it a worn out look which we have tried to show on the images. Each swatch of the animal skin absorbs the colour differently, so there may be slight colour variations. This together with the hand finishing means that no two leather bags look exactly the same.

-Please be aware that the metal parts which rub against each other may have minor scratches on them from handling, like clasps while sliding through. Please be aware that when the leather is brand new, sometimes the natural dyes which are still settling in the leather may transfer across to lighter clothing. This is rare but normal depending on how porous that particular batch of natural leather is. Continue to use the bag and exposure to natural light and heat will settle the dyes on the new skin within few days of use. You can also simply wipe the surface of the bag thoroughly to minimise this.

Care:

-For day to day maintenance a dab of sunflower/vegetable oil rubbed over the bag evenly with your palm or fingers will work to re-oil the leather and also protects the leather from cracking as well as sealing the leather for mild weather resistance. This will also help if you have got small water marks on the leather or to darken the leather slowly, over a period of time.

-Scratches, scuffs, nail marks all give character to the distressed leather. Small scratches can be removed by rubbing them gently with your finger, as the natural oils on your hands will work into the leather. For larger scratches and marks apply oil over the marks with your fingers, let it soak in for a few minutes and then wipe the excess away with a clean soft cloth. This will subdue the scratch marks. Repeat the step if necessary.

-Avoid getting your bag wet and keep it in a cool dry place. Should it get very wet, not letting the water drops sit on the leather and dry is the key, wipe the water away as soon as you spot it and dry it in normal room temperature. Any water marks will fade away when the bag gets dried. Do not subject the bag directly onto a source of heat like a radiator or under direct sunlight to dry as that may cause the leather to crack.

Waterproofing:

-Your bag will withstand an occasional rain or a drizzle on the daily commute but is not waterproofed. To further protect your bag you can waterproof your bag yourself by buying any standard waterproofer products available in the market. Please refer to individual product instructions before use.

Personalisation:

-We offer personalisation on the bag. To order, simply choose the personalised option while adding the item to the basket and clearly state the choice of alphabets in the note to the seller section at the checkout or send us a message after confirming the order. If we have any doubt, we will contact you prior to completing the monogram.

-We use Pristina font for the monogram. Please refer to the monogram example image on the product pages.

-Maximum 3 - 4 alphabets can be monogrammed as initials on the bag. If you require more number of alphabets, please contact us and we will confirm if we can accommodate your request.

-All letters are evenly spaced unless requested otherwise. Please note that as some letters containing angles and curves (example: A, M, F, W, H, R etc.) they may appear to have wider spaces between them. Every effort is made to ensure the embossing looks as well spaced and aligned as possible, however please be advised that this is hand pressed on to the finished product upon order confirmation and not machine pressed, so minute variation to the tune of 1-2 mm is normal.

-We are not able to accept Returns or Exchanges for items that have been personalised. Standard warranty will apply. Please refer to our warranty terms.
