Handmade ceramic mug with handpainted pattern
These mugs are handcrafted in Kate's garden workshop in Sussex, England. Every mug is hand painted, so each one is a little unique. This pattern is called 'Rockpools', inspired by a childhood spent teetering of rock edges with an oversized net!
The pattern is painted with a grey pigment onto a white glaze. The speckles come from little flecks of iron within the body of the clay. When the piece fired it creates a lovely effect on the surface of the piece.

This range is made from iron rich stoneware clay. All Kate's pottery is food-safe, hard-wearing and suitable for microwaves and dishwashers.
