Be inspired by the myths, magic and beauty of nature each month in 2022 with this beautiful Floriology Linocut Calendar.
Illustrated with artwork taken from individually handmade linocut prints, this calendar is a wonderful way to reconnect to nature and the seasons each month. Like birth stones, the ancient folklore wisdom of Floriology teaches us that there are flowers growing in every month of the year which have symbolic meaning. We know that roses (the birth flower of June) represent love- but did you know the chrysanthemum, flower of November, represents compassion?
The flowers on each page were initially drawn by hand, then carved into lino and hand printed in black ink on Italian cotton rag Amatruda Amalfi paper. The calendar is equally back to earth, being printed on ecologically sound recycled paper, spiral bound with a hanging loop.
