Personalised Wedding Portrait Handmade Linoprint

New to notonthehighstreet, this personalised wedding portrait is a true heirloom piece. Celebrate your first anniversary by having your most cherished wedding photograph turned into a completely unique linocut print, framed and optionally finished with vintage letterpress type.

A stunning way to portray the happy scene, this print is completely unique and made by hand from start to finish. Using your image, I will first draw the design, then transfer the drawing to lino, carve it by hand and print using the traditional reduction lino method. Reduction linoprints are made with one piece of lino for the entire print, which is carved away and printed in several stages. The number of layers will depend on the colours in your photograph, but will typically be made up of 3 to 5 different colours.

If you'd like lettering added beneath the print, this is done using vintage letterpress type, which is hand set and inked. If you want to include anything (for instance your names, or the date of the wedding- whatever you wish!) simply select this as an option at checkout.

Every print is sent framed, so makes a perfect ready to give anniversary gift, (the first anniversary is traditionally celebrated with a paper gift). The portrait also makes a wonderful Valentines present for the lucky bride or groom. You can choose from a white or black frame; both measure 10 x 12". Gift wrap can be added free of charge, and if you'd like a gift note I can write one out on a handprinted tag, and attach it to the parcel.
