About Me

Bright and contemporary wall art prints with classical themes

Hello, I’m Ruth, owner of Kuiper Design.

I have been designing for nearly 20 years and work full time as a graphic designer in a job I love. I have been producing my own artwork for two; packaging, posting in my spare time; and carrying on my passion for art that I’ve had since I was a child.

I was attracted to the pre-Raphaelite paintings that my parents had prints of all over their house, and even though my current medium is digital, I grew up sketching or painting on canvas in a traditional style. When I grew up and moved in to graphic design, it was bold vector illustration that then influenced me and my digital artwork has become a combination of the two, romantic scenes but portrayed with bold shapes and colours.

How my products are made

All my illustrations are hand-drawn digitally and I have worked with a high end printer to perfect the printing process to ensure beautiful, vivid colours on FSC accredited stock. I am really pleased with how their specialist process can produce colours so close to the digital original. My store has a range of products and sizes, but each is produced on the best stock and with the brightest colours.
