Saskia Frost

Frost + Dutch is both surname and part nationality of designer/artist Saskia Frost. Soon after graduating in Fine Art in 2011 and with a strong family background in graphic design, she started on concepts for cushions and prints with her mum Marianne.

The cushions are in a variety of styles to suit individual tastes but they all look equally at home in a country or city setting. Both cushions and prints are an easy way to freshen up a room by changing the colour balance or with the introduction of just one accent piece, giving it a cosy feel, an amusing touch or an elegant simplicity. They can be mixed with a wide choice of colours, bright or subtle.

The Dutch love of colours and all things arty has had an influence on Saskia's popular animal prints. Graphic and stylish, they are casually blended with Scottish tartan, set against a striking background and have a 'look at me' statement. By itself on a plain wall or with a mass of other pictures or for an en trend look why not hang the print, in a stylish frame, from a shelf surrounded by books.
