The way we achieve our goal of personally creating individual handcrafted pieces at affordable prices is to have become experts in a manufacturing process that is incredibly efficient, ecological and low waste. We have been fine tuning our process since 2012 and through copious amounts of trial and error we have found a technique that really works for our design process.
Steam bending a product into its complete, finished form eliminates the need for any unpleasant glues or fixtures. There is therefore no need for separate pieces to be glued together or nail/screwed into place. The piece of wood in it's steam-bent form is the complete finished item. Steam bending is a low energy, ecological technique.
Quality is never an accident, it is always the result of intelligent effort. Myles & Madeleine both come from a design background and prioritise the design & function of their products. We believe good design is innovative, useful, aesthetic, honest, long-lasting, environmentally friendly and thorough to the last detail.
We don't have anyone else working for us because we want to be involved in every aspect of creating your piece. Then and only then can we be certain of the quality we are providing for you.

Delivery to UK 24 or 48 hour Royal Mail delivery
Delivery to the rest of the world using tracked post usually takes 5-10 working days. Some parcels can take up to 30 days to arrive but this is very unlikely. You will be provided with a tracking code once your order has been dispatched. Please contact us ASAP if there has been a delay with your order and we will look into it for you.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Unless the item is faulty or damaged, you will be required to cover the cost of returning the order to us. We recommend using a guaranteed postal service for returns and exchanges as we cannot be held responsible for any items lost in the post.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct it for you.
Exceptions
Engraved items are not eligible for a return. Certain items are subject to a restocking fee when returning. Custom products (such as our lighting range) are wired to order and therefore are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges
Please contact us before starting an exchange and we will inform you of the quickest way to get the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
