Lily Belle’s story began back in the late 90’s when childhood friends Kirstie and Patroula travelled through South East Asia together.
They indulged their love of jewellery by collecting individual pieces that reminded them of special moments and locations they had shared on their journey and dreamed of one day running their own business, they planned to make sentiment led jewellery that would speak directly to the wearer. With the arrival of their children both Kirstie and Patroula made the decision to change their career path, hung up their location boots and set about realising their dream of owning their own business.
In 2005 Lily Belle was established and named after their two daughters, Lily and Lottie Belle.
The collections evolved to include personalised jewellery always remaining loyal to the heart of the brand, encompassing its key values of Stories, Moments and Family.
In 2019 Lily Belle started a new chapter with a new owner, Sarah. Hoping to continue Kirstie and Patroula’s passion for creating unique and innovative personalised products Sarah and her team pride themselves on designing products that tell their customers individual stories. They strive to create gifts that you would love to give, to mark landmark events and special moments.
Lily Belle is based in a beautiful studio in Cumbria and work with a dynamic and talented team who are passionate about creating individual items with a personalised twist.
How and when will my purchases be delivered?
Your order will be sent on a 1st class Royal Mail delivery service.
If your order is more urgent you can choose Express Delivery for UK orders. These service costs are outlined on the notonthehighstreet website along with International options.
Express orders placed by 11am will be shipped the same day.
Saturday Delivery is available.
Orders placed after 11am will be shipped the following working day. Orders placed after 11am on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.
We aim to deliver most Standard Delivery orders within one to three business days if the items are in stock. Delivery time will be longer for orders outside of the UK.
Whilst we ensure orders are dispatched in a timely fashion, on rare occasions delivery may be delayed due to Royal Mail factors that are outside of our control. As such, delivery dates provided for Non-Express orders are estimated and not guaranteed.

We offer an Express shipping service, if a signature cannot be obtained the item will be taken to your local sorting office and you will need to collect the item in person. If the item is not collected within 7 days it will be retuned to us, we are unable to resend the item until it has been returned to us and additional postage costs will apply. Please ensure that a signature is attainable at the delivery address given at point of order, or that the item is collected from your local sorting office within 7 days.

All purchases will be delivered fully gift wrapped in our beautiful branded packaging. If you would like your item sent directly to your gift recipient, please just add your personal message via ‘add gift options’ on the delivery page, you will find this just prior to the payment page.
Returns
We will guarantee you a full money-back refund within 14 days of purchase on any item, as long as it is in its original packaging and condition. We cannot accept refunds or exchanges on earrings for hygiene reasons or engraved items made to your specification. Lily Belle offer a 6 month guarantee on all products. The guarantee lapses in the event of incorrect use, third-party repairs and careless handling and the warranty does not cover wear-and-tear to components such as PU, leather, elastic, silk, cotton or cord. Sterling silver will tarnish and will require polishing if this happens. Please note the special care instructions included with your purchase.

About our jewellery
Lily Belle only use exceptionally high quality solid silver and semi-precious stones in our designs. We also work with stainless steel, plated silver, gold and rose gold, faux leather, cotton, silk and elastics. Please refer to the product description to ascerain the materials used in the design.
How do I look after my jewellery?
Many factors can influence the wear and tear of jewellery. Therefore you should make sure that your jewellery is properly cleaned, repaired and stored. Always protect your jewellery from sharp blows, scratching, chemicals, sunlight and heat/cold to minimise these effects. Ideally, store your jewellery in a soft lined box or pouch and try to keep pieces apart, so that they don’t rub together or tangle. It is also recommended that you visit a jeweller once a year to have your jewellery cleaned professionally. This will keep it looking its best.
Care of Silver
Like all jewellery, avoid wearing silver in chlorinated water. This will discolour it. Also make sure that silver is stored away from excessive light and air as these can further tarnish the jewellery. Keep the silver in a dark, cool and dry place.
Silver can tarnish very easily. To help prevent this, simply clean with a mild soap and water solution. Alternatively, a silver cleaner or soft felt cloth may be used, but tissue paper or paper towels will cause scratches.
