Using the highest quality materials and process, Gold Vermeil is far more durable than other gold plated options and can last for years. However, if worn continuously (especially rings) the gold plate can start to wear away after 6 months. In this instance, we will not be able to offer a refund as this is not a fault in the product, but rather the nature of wear and tear.
We recommend that when you are not wearing your jewellery, you keep them in your LDL jewellery box. If you would like to clean your gold vermeil jewellery wash it with a small amount of gentle dish soap or non-chemical soap and warm water. Rinse it well and allow to dry on a cloth or paper towel. Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth or jewellery cloth and gently rub the surface in a circular motion to clean.
Every piece of ours is stamped with the metal mark and 'LDL' as our designer's mark. Our solid gold pieces are all sent to the London Assay Office to ensure quality of metal. So don't just take our word for it! The marks include our designer's mark, the year mark, the metal quality mark and the London Assay Office symbols. They are very small and discreet on the inside of the band.
