Please note the cuff will have been polished with a wax in an effort to minimise the copper developing a tarnish. Copper will naturally develop a tarnish (otherwise known as patina) when it comes into contact with natural skin oils as well as other substances (perfumes, lotions etc). The colour and depth of the patina will vary depending and may be stronger for some and weaker for others. You can clean the tarnish from a copper cuff using everyday household items such as buffing the cuff with a mixture made of salt and white vinegar.
