CREATE AN AUTHENTIC ITALIAN DINING EXPERIENCE AT HOME

L'incontro translates to "the meeting", based on our visions of having the italian culture meet the british public and show that there is so much more to italian food that what meets the eye.

A world of craftsmanship, centuries of artisan tradition and, above all, some of Italy's finest dishes.

L'incontro was created by two italian siblings, Alessandro and Roberta, who shared a love for Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. It's a daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. So why not try to share this tradition with UK homes?

Inspired by this simple mission, our founders set out to bring the freshness and quality of the italian "tagliere" he grew up enjoying everyday in Italy to British Kitchens.

Ingredients

Our ingredients are sourced seasonally and sustainably from a network of meticulously selected small farmers and local growers across Italy.

We carefully test each ingredient to guarantee the highest quality and ensure that every item in our boxes beautifully complement each other for the ultimate Italian experience.

The goal is excellence, the result of the combination of fine meats and the aromas of cheeses, cradled in the embrace of our appetisers and mediterranean chutneys, thus creating our Tagliere boards, the emblem of the products of L'incontro.

L'incontro embodies the values that inspire its creators: passion, quality, tradition, innovation, care, attention to details all with an Italian core. All of them are daily applied to the process of making our products in order to obtain the best of the excellence that we can provide.

Delivery

Delivery Policy

Products are sent Monday to Thursday and they are sent via a next day delivery service with our courier partners. If orders are received by 2PM we aim them out on the same day they are received. If orders are received after 2PM they will be sent out on the next working day. For example an order received Monday at 11AM will be sent out Monday and you should receive it on Tuesday and and order received Monday at 4PM will be sent out Tuesday and you should receive it on Wednesday. Orders received on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be sent out on the following Monday and you should receive them on Tuesday.

Our packaging for chilled product is chilled using special reusable and recycled cooling packs. This means the products can last up to 48 hours out of the fridge, although we recommend refrigerating as soon as you can. Our Appetisers, Dips, Chutneys, and Jams do not actually require refrigeration if not open.

We currently only deliver to England and Wales addresses.

You will receive notifications about the delivery confirmation and a tracking code on the day of dispatch, both via email and on your phone. Therefore, you must leave a mobile telephone number and an email address for the recipient. Our deliveries do not require a signature, so the courier will need clear instructions on where to leave your Charcuterie Box if nobody is going to be in.

We are unable to offer any refunds if your Charcuterie Box does not arrive with you on time if you have failed to provide safe place instructions, a mobile telephone number and an email address for tracking updates and notifications.

If you should change your mind about your order once it has already been confirmed and dispatched, please accept said delivery and you must contact us on the day of delivery to discuss the order further. Refusal of your parcel, unless confirmed damaged by the courier, will forfeit any claim for refund or redelivery.
