Our Story

A Brand Born From A Maternity Leave In Lockdown.

Hello! I'm Katie and I became a Mum to my son Harry in 2020. It was a year to remember for so many reasons, with a new baby and a husband who was clinically vulnerable to Covid I suffered from anxiety and needed a focus to calm my mind. My Mum also struggled so used the time she wished she could be spending with her new grandson to get back into her love of watercolour paintings.

An idea started to come together and I began using my son's naps to work on turning my Mum's paintings into digital patterns that could be used on products. As a new Mum I naturally gravitated towards baby products, I wanted the softest, organic, practical, and beautiful items I could find. After lots of research and samples, I found products I genuinely adored and wanted to use with my son. All our products are made from Bamboo & Organic Cotton that is super soft and stays that way wash after wash.

What We Do

During lockdown, our daily walk was a real highlight and I loved how much joy my new son took from watching trees. This simple thing made me fall in love with the idea of bringing wildlife to the Mums and babies who were having to stay home and so Little Wild Co. was born. All our designs are painted by my Mum Jenny and inspired by the wildlife local to us in East Sussex.

Our Eucalyptus Print was featured in British Vogue's 'New Kids on The Block' feature in their January 2022 issue.
