About Us

We're a small family business offering new and fun framed prints.

We've had a lot of fun building up a brand new range of prints in the style of LS Lowry. As a Manchester family Lowry has always been inspirational. With over 50 brand new designs we hope to spread a bit of that to others in an affordable range.

We're delighted to be offering these on Not On The High Street, after trialling them on other sites and getting lots of great feedback. We even have some lovely customers collecting them all.

It's our little cottage industry from our north Manchester base. We're in Bury, Mr. Lowry had studios up the road and many moons ago my mum worked with him in Salford. She wasn't an artist though, at the time they were both rent collectors! She remembered him doodling on napkins and throwing them away, she did regret not fishing them out.

Made in the UK

Our frames and prints are all made in the UK.

Our aim is to make sure all our products are made in the UK. Our frames come from another small business, the prints themselves are all printed in the UK and we put them together by hand at our own premises in (very occasionally) sunny Manchester.

Since we started on this project we've been trying to get the balance between quality and price. We think we're there now. My parents had a shop and my dad's desire was always to provide good products at affordable prices. The shop has long gone but the desire was passed on. This has meant sourcing a quality product that can be shipped at a reasonable rate and keep the retail price that won't break the bank.
